2023年12月19日、Mozilla Foundationは "Firefox 121.0" をリリースしました。
このアップデートではいくつかの新機能の追加とセキュリティ上の問題の修正が行われています。
通常は自動でアップデートが行われますが、すぐにアップデートしたい場合はFirefoxのAboutを開くか、以下の公式サイトから最新版をダウンロードして差し替えて下さい。
なお、Firefox 116.0.xからは動作環境の足切りが行われ、以下の環境ではFirefox 115.xまでしか動作しなくなっているのでご注意ください：

- Firefox now prompts Windows users to install the Microsoft AV1 Video Extension to enable hardware decoding support for the AV1 video codec from about:support if not already installed.

This brings support for touchpad & touchscreen gestures, swipe-to-nav, per-monitor DPI settings, better graphics performance, and more.Note that due to Wayland protocol limitations, Picture-in-Picture windows require an extra user interaction (generally right-click on the window) or a shell / desktop-environment tweak. This option can be enabled in the Browsing section of the Firefox Settings menu.
