東北関東大震災を受け、日本での iPad 2 発売を延期（変更日未定）

既に各所でも報じられている通り、Apple は iPad 2 の『日本での』発売日を当初予定されていた3月25日以降にに変更する模様です。
Apple to delay iPad 2 launch in Japan due to earthquake and tsunami disaster＠AllNewsMacApple Inc said it will delay the launch of the iPad 2 tablet computer in Japan, in the wake of last week’s earthquake and tsunami.
Apple had planned to start selling the device in Japan on March 25. The company did not provide a rescheduled launch date.
“We are delaying the launch of the iPad 2 in Japan while the country and our teams focus on recovering from the recent disaster,” said Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris.
被災地ならびに Apple スタッフの災害復旧等への作業や業務を最優先してもらうための措置とのことですが、現時点では Apple からの正式アナウンスを Apple Japan のホームページで確認できていません。
なお、日本以外では従来の予定通り3月25日 に発売開始のようです。
