Indeo 5対応の追加、ならびに幾つかの不具合を修正するアップデータ
ノーマルのQuickTimeでは視聴出来ないAVIやFLVなどのメジャー系コーデックも扱えるようにしてくれるプラグイン「Perian」のアップデータが公開されました。
このアップデータではIndeo 5への対応が追加されたほか、幾つかの不具合の修正が行われ安定性が向上しています。内容は以下の通り。
Perian 1.2.1 Changes
- Added: Indeo 5 decoding.
- Fixed several bugs in Matroska support (1.2 regression)
- Incomplete AVI files were not fully imported (1.2 regression)
- Fixed subtitles crashing in 10.4
- Fixed a rare crash with .mp4
- No error was shown if the installer somehow failed
- Note that it does not try to correct errors, only report them.
- Fixed crash in SSA support
- Fixed invisible subtitles sometimes appearing over the first frame
アップデートはPerianのサイトからインストーラーをダウンロードして適用するか、システム環境設定のPerianの項目から［Check for Update］をクリックして手動更新して下さい (もちろん自動更新に任せて放置しておいても構いません)。
［追記］Final Cut Proをご利用になられている方はUpdateしない方が良いみたいです。v1.2を継続使用して下さい。(t0moriさん、情報ありがとうございました！)
