AppAdviceが伝える所によると、アメリカAppleは今週の25日にもiPad (Wi-Fiモデル) の先行予約を開始するかも知れないとのこと。

According to a reliable source of ours familiar with the matter, Apple will be starting the presale of the iPad as soon as February 25th.

Appleが事前予約を受け付けるというのはなんだか「らしくない」気がしないこともないですが、他の陣営を牽制するとか、或はiPad熱を早めに焚き付ける (あまり好きな表現じゃないですが^^; ) といった目的がもしかしたらあるのかもしれませんね。
